Who We Are

FeRMHA (Female Reproductive and Mental Awareness) is a non-governmental organization that seeks to uplift African women by addressing the health issues that impact them most. Our mission is simple: to improve the reproductive and mental health of Nigerian women and the wider African female population. Through accessible education and outreach, we provide the tools necessary for women to make informed decisions about their health

To improve the reproductive and mental health of Nigerian and African women and empower them by providing essential information, advocacy and support.

A future where women are healthy and aware of all the benefits of being a woman, as well as what it takes to protect themselves against forced disadvantages.

What We Do

  • Community & School Outreaches – Providing direct education and health services to women and girls.
  • Social Media Health Education & Advocacy – Raising awareness and sharing vital information on reproductive and mental health issues.
  • Support for Women’s Health – Offering resources, donations, and financial assistance to women in need.

Why it Matters

Women in Nigeria and across Africa face significant health challenges—high maternal mortality, limited mental health support, and widespread misinformation about reproductive health. FeRMHA works to close these gaps, ensuring women get the care, knowledge, and resources they need.
